People for Animals, (PFA), Trivandrum, is a chapter of a nation- wide
organization which campaigns for animal rights. Started in Mumbai in
1993, it works for a change in our attitude towards animals. A chapter
of this movement, was started in Trivandrum in July 1996.
Animals cannot speak for themselves or fight back. They have only one
ally- people who are sensitive to their plight. PFA attempts to unify
the people’s protest against exploitation and cruelty to animals
with the aim to secure a better life for our animal citizens.
